Xmas Fly-In

28 December 2004

The day started pleasantly enough as most of our fly-ins do with dinner (NOT lunch!!!) in Burger King. The idea being that a full stomach gives you something to bring up later as the excitement mounts.
A day for Xmas present kites. Here's a pocket kite that the WebMaster got as a pressie. Whilst it only has the one line, it compensates by zooming all over the sky and has the potential to create knots beyond even our wildest dreams. Just wait till those packed fields at kite festivals over the summer !!
The wind was a little on the gusty side, and having plowed a respectable furrow before going (and we quote here) "arse first into a swamp" we wondered if there was a launderette nearby.
Our WebMaster isn't daft (stupid, yes. Daft, no) and so sat down for a good session of buggy-less buggying.

There are photos of the state of the seat of the trousers for the not-so faint hearted - just email & ask !!.

But the "brains" of the outfit had been converted to eBay, and having bought a bargain was determined to fly it. Looks quite easy, doesn't it !

Good chap !!!!

What worries "Yours Truly" isn't so much the state of his pants, but who his wife holds responsible for the state of his pants !!!
