What a nice banner, but if they will leave it unsupervised...

Well, we knew there wouldn't be a lot of us going to this one, so we thought we'd minimise the kit. We told Brian that the small tent was too small, but would he listen.....

Meanwhile

In a novel break with tradition, our webmaster spent quite a bit of time actually "doing" kites. A good turn out of the kite bag found five pairs of lines that were hitherto unknown to science, and something was found for eBay as well. Here's an old friend up in the sky again.

However, some traditions are just too good to pass up.
Meanwhile...

All in all - a good festival.

The Friday was a bit iffy - the weather was AWFUL, and some of us were surprised, when going for a midnight wee, to find that some of our friends had set up in the wrong field.

The Saturday was good - good weather, good flying, and an excellent bonfire organised by the wardens, and enjoyed by all.

The Sunday was excellent - the local council had put on a really good show.

See you there next year !!
